The story is adapted from the novel The Fate of Jinxiu <錦繡緣> which tells a story of a country girl Rong Jinxiu (played by CQE) who travels to Shanghai in search of the truth behind her family’s death. She meets Zou Zhen (played by HXM) a triad leader and Xiang Yingdong (Kimi Qiao) a businessman. It is schedule for airing this year.

I thought I’d share this. Looking at their younger and much goofier versions makes me smile. But honestly, they all looked good even back then. Unfortunately I couldn’t find Ady An’s graduation photo anywhere. Hu Ge’s face is classic (ha ha). It is so Xiao Yao. You might recognize Yuan Shanshan in Yang Mi’s grad pic, they graduated from the same class.
