To be honest I didn’t really like him at first when I saw him in the ancient Chinese-fantasy drama Rift of the Sky/ 轩辕剑之天之痕 acting alongside Hu Ge and LSS’ OTP. The guy can’t act in my book…but look at him now with projects left and right.
If this were a contest of “who’s cuter?” I wouldn’t know who to pick. Eddie is as cute as ever but his “Xiǎo zhízi” is seriously giving him a run for his money. Alright, I pick the food!

This is another TV version of the widely popular story of Mulan but what I’m really looking forward to see here is Yuan Hong! He probably won’t end up with the girl (again) but hey he’s surely worth watching.
This version is called 巾帼大将军 / Jin Guo Da Jiang Jun/ Mu Lan with 40 episodes.

These are arguably the most beautiful posters I’ve ever seen among all the dramas I’ve ever seen (and I’ve seen “a LOT”). The colors pop, the details so elaborate, the artistry, it’s so poetic that I want to say kudos to whoever made them. It also means one thing, the expectation for this drama is definitely high.

Official Poster for the upcoming mainland drama If I Love You/ Se Ti Amo or otherwise known as The Queen of SOP 3. Yup! That’s right it’s the third one. For those of you who’ve seen The Queen of SOP, with the exceptionally talented Chen Qiao En along with Zhang Han and hottie Godfrey Gao, you will remember that Ming Dao made a brief appearance as Zhang Han’s friend, Adam Bell. Let’s skip the second one because I don’t think it has any relation with the first and the current one (except that it has Zhang Han in it plus I have zero interest in it, nada, zilch!) FYI, Mingdao actually co-produced Queen of SOP and with it being so successful, he is now producing Queen of SOP 3/IYLM. This time he is taking the lead, reprising the role of Adam Bell.
The story follows Adam Bell’s journey from a wealthy wine merchant to a struggling almost homeless person after an investment went awry. He would then set out to take back what he lost and reestablish his family’s stature. Mingdao takes the lead as Adam Bell with Li Qin as the female lead (you may know her from another drama Shining Days with Peter Ho) Bianca Bai a veteran in terms of second female roles and new comer Dilger DJ (who’s from Mingdao’s very own studio) as the second male lead along with Hu Bing rounds up the main cast.
Personally I wish this to be good because I am in dire need of good and I mean well made modern drama these days.

Coming off from back to back hit movies, Taiwanese hunky actor Eddie Peng dons a gray wool coat and black trouser from Louis Vuitton and a simple white blouse accented with leather gloves for the ELLE August covershoot.
Yang Xue Wu (Ariel Lin) and Han Xiao Dong (Wei Qian Xiang) are easily the cutest pair in the currently airing period drama Prince of Lan Ling/ 蘭陵王. I just like their chemistry and I mean that in the non-romantic way. I’m not shipping them either. To be honest I don’t know which OTP to ship, I’m kinda torn in between until now. But I digress. Anyway, this pair just has this cool and comfy vibe which I like. I like Xue Wu’s spirit and Xiao Dong’s loyalty. So far I like how things are unfolding and I’m watching this with eyes wide open which means that I’m not holding out for a fairy tale ending either because I know that it’s rare in period dramas.
