Tony Yang (and production staff) surprised birthday girl Tang Yan on the set of their period drama千金女賊 Qianjin Nv Zei which literally translates to Daughter Nvzei but with the official English title, Lady and the Liar (which also stars Hawick Lau). Filming began in Shanghai amid the almost zero visibility enviromenment due to smog. Yah, that bad!
A Hello Kitty cake was specially designed for her, with her very own miniature Kitty character on top of the cake. A party was also thrown for her with best pal Yang Mi, Tony Yang and special messages from on-sreeen partners Wallace Huo, Luo Jin and Hu Ge. No, Roy Qiu did not give a message. With girlfriends Yang Mi and Liu Shi shi happy with their individual romance, Tang Tang is the only single lady. I hope she finds a good man. It’d be great it she ends up with either Hu Ge or Luo Jin. That would be OTP perfection!
