The rumors are actually true. There is indeed SOP Queen 2 and by the looks of it, only Zhang Han returned but with a different character. The story is also totally different. This one is actually quite cliche and very similar to the not-so-good drama Half a Fairy Tale (with Janine Chang playing twin characters) with the whole “pretending to be the other sister storyline”. Zheng Shuang plays the female lead (portraying both rich and poor characters).
So here’s my gripe —why stick to this title when it has nothing to do with the first anyway?! Isn’t that ridiculous? Oh well, maybe they don’t wanna waste their precious time pondering on possible drama titles when they could just adapt an already existing one which many people hope to have a sequel. The male cast looks delish but looks are not enough to sell a drama.
