I was shipping Yuwen Tuo (HuGe) and Ningke (Tang Yan) so hard that I thought my heart would break and shatter into pieces in many of their scenes together. Their story was just so dark, cruel, treacherous, passionate and sad all rolled into one. Oh fate, how could you be so cruel! Their story proved how powerful love is that it could turn even the most evil person good for its sake.
Taba Yuer (Liu Shishi) and Jing Chou, otherwise known as the other OTP is kinda cute too but I thought not a great match. LSS is wonderful as she is.
The story is about 2 men who seek to restore their lost kingdoms by using several mystical artifacts and using its power to defeat their enemies. A series of adventures and misadventures ensue resulting in some misunderstanding and emotional entanglements.
