I don’t know what to make of this movie honestly. I guess I expected a lot, that’s why after sitting 2 or so hours watching this film left me feeling high and dry. I was expecting some really intense wuxia fight scenes but instead I got a long and windy suspense-mystery solving scenario one after another. It has the whole fantasy aspect to it which I like about wuxia but somehow it only left me disappointed. The four is basically Deng Chao (Coldblood), a Department six detective who infiltrated (somehow) the rival Divine Constabulary to catch the person behind the circulation of forge currency. He turns into a manwolf when he gets angry which reminds of Wolverine. Ronald Cheng (Life Snatcher) is the 2nd who is good at collecting debts and covering tracks. Collin Chou (Ironhands) is 3rd is good with his hands. He can wield iron with his bare hands (hence the name) and then there’s Liu Yifei (Emotionless) doing her best Professor X impersonation. I thought the build up to the climax was lacking and the resolution itself was rushed. In other words they could have done better.
