There really is a reason to jump for joy. The movie claimed the top spot on it’s opening weekend raking in more than $33 million, even surpassing the highly touted epic film The Crossing Pt. 1 which came in at number 2. Maybe December is not a good time for disaster movies. It even did better than Eddie Peng’s other movie, Rise of the Legend which brings its cume to about $30m after 2 weeks of release.
The coming-of-age film stars Eddie Peng, Ni Ni, Zheng Kai et.al as a group of friends who grew up in the 90’s.
