I don’t really know how to put into words what I feel about this drama. I do admit that it made me excited at first, bored at times, incredulous after, happy and sad as well. Most of us drama watchers tend to choose our “OTP’s” right from the start and its quite rare to deviate once your emotionally invested already. This story basically gave us a love square Ting Xuan-Yu Feng-Ting Yu-Jing Wei. From the onset, Ting Xuan and Yu Feng were a couple but with the arrival of younger twin Ting Yu, a livelier younger version of Xuan xuan, Yu Feng started developing feelings for her causing TX to be heartbroken. She decided to forget YF by focusing her attention on JW who was in love with her since childhood.
Personally, I liked Ting Xuan. I guess I kinda felt sorry for her and she’s a tragic heroine. Who wouldn’t like that?! I thought that JW deserved her more than YF, who was frozen throughout the drama. What kind of acting was that? Robot?
We were given 2 versions of the ending. Both were lacking and tragic. But if I had to choose I’ll combine both endings were YF goes after his dream to travel the world, JW finally letting go and growing up and TY living her own life. That would have been my ending.
